Amada has been providing services for my mother for several months. Her aide has been a blessing assisting with light housework, laundry, shopping, transportation, and most important companionship. She is unable to drive , but still wants independence with daily tasks. Having assistance while I am working has been so helpful to the entire family. Her aide is so kind, patient, and compassionate. I am so grateful for her and the services provided by Amada Home Care.

I would reccomend Amada services. They were reliable,and pleasant to work with. Laura was my mom’s aide and I cannot say enough about how well she took care of my mother . She was kind and self motivated to engage my mom in mind and physical exercises

Amada Senior Care came into my life during one of the most overwhelming periods I’ve ever faced. My daughter and parents were in the hospital at the same time, my parents suddenly needed 24‑hour care, and I was completely drained — emotionally and mentally. Before I was even a client, Karen Desimone, the proprietor, stepped in with compassion that felt like a lifeline. She listened, she understood, and she offered guidance without ever making me feel like I was being sold something. At a time when I was uncertain and afraid, she was a steady, calming voice. Karen even helped me choose the right rehabilitation facility for my mother, and looking back, it was absolutely the right decision. When it came time to arrange care for my parents so I could return to work, Amada was flexible, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping us find stability again. They provided a wonderful 24‑hour live‑in aide, Edith, who has become such a blessing to our family. She cares for my parents with patience and tenderness, and when she isn’t tending to them, she’s cooking, cleaning, and keeping the home running smoothly. Her presence has brought comfort and dignity back into my parents’ daily lives. Karen also guided me through the process of working with the VA for benefits, and because Amada is an approved VA provider, those benefits helped stretch our resources during a very difficult time. I cannot recommend Amada Home Health Care enough. They are honest, caring, empathetic, and deeply knowledgeable. I truly don’t know how I would have managed our family’s health crisis without their support, guidance, and genuine kindness.

Poor billing practices, poor customer service, poor communication and the worst missing items. I have been quiet long enough. My wife hired this company in good faith to take care of her mother who was unable to care for herself. The first aide left after a few days due to a family emergency. The second aide is where the issue really started. This woman invited a man into my in-laws home without permission, my mother in law woke up to a man sitting in her bedroom, he said good morning to her and knew her name from what we can gather he spent the night. Over the next few days it was discovered that my father in-laws ruby and gold ring was missing and also a heirloom gold watch was missing. The company had sent the original aid after some personal issues with the current aide ,and she found a bottle of wine hidden in the room that the aide was utilizing. The company was asked to stop using the credit card disregarded the request, over maxed the card limit with no regard for the customer who has to pay a penalty for being over the limit. Run from this company

Mike and Karen have been phenomenal to work with. The care taken to ensure the right caregiver fit for my parents was second to none and truly appreciated. It wasn’t easy, I’m sure. The Amada Tom’s River caregivers who supported my parents were among the most kind, compassionate, discrete, and patient women out there. Would highly recommend Amada Tom’s River to anyone looking for care for themselves or a loved one.

My 88yr old father was admitted to SOCH in June and July. Amada Senior Care has been very responsive to our needs for Aides to be at his bedside as well as 24 hour care upon discharge. The Aides were trustworthy and caring. I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years and am amazed at how professional this agency is. Thank you for all your support through these unexpected hospitalizations.

As a retired health care executive, I can recognize a professional organization when I see it. From the administrative staff to the individual providing service to my wife, the respect and caring were extraordinary. I can wholeheartedly recommend Amada Senior Care for those needing home care services.

I cannot say enough great things about Amada Senior Care and the amazing team that is caring for my father. Between Karen, Mike, Lissa and their wonderful team of caregivers, my family is in such better shape. The care team brings a lovel of empathy, love and dedication to my father’s care and we think of them as true family members. There may be other agencies around but nobody cares as much, works as hard or dedicates their efforts more than Karen and the team at Amada Senior Care !!

Senior care is terribly difficult to find especially post pandemic AND even more so on LBI. I struggled for months to find reliable care both private or via agencies that could make it to Long Beach Island. I wish I had found Amada | Toms River sooner. Karen made caring for my dad much much easier. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to senior care and resources in general but the team of caregivers she has are fantastic. I appreciate that I didn’t have to do the interviewing & admin work for each aid. If an aid was out sick, Karen and team immediately jumped in to action to find us coverage. Highly professional, knowledgeable owners which I highly recommend. They became part of the family at a time my dad needed it the most.

Amada is the best home care around. Mike is fantastic and really cares.
