As Owner of Amada Senior Care Shelby County, Army veteran Len Everts leads a trusted home care team that goes beyond sitter service with compassionate care coordination and caregiver matching, transparent communication, and step-by-step family guidance. Len is also our in-house expert on Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI). He reviews policies, coordinates with carriers, and helps families unlock benefits that pay for home care, companion support, and respite for family caregivers. He also specializes in assisting Veteran families in understanding and accessing VA home care and Veteran benefits.
Len is active in the Shelby County community and loves local restaurants, Oak Mountain trails, and cheering on Alabama football. He volunteers with Encore, a Respite for All program, and works closely with partners across the county to help families find dependable support fast. Having cared for his own loved ones, Len is deeply committed to ensuring every family has access to compassionate, dignified care.

Angela Gant brings nearly three decades of experience in education, mentorship, and leadership to Amada Senior Care Shelby County. A retired English teacher from Homewood High School, she spent 28 years inspiring students to think critically and express themselves with confidence. Recognized as Homewood City Schools Teacher of the Year and recipient of the Teacher Impact Award, Angela now channels that same heart for service into supporting caregivers and guiding families through their care journey.
Angela continues to mentor and empower others, helping them find their strengths and take positive steps forward. She is actively involved in her church and community, where she finds deep purpose in serving seniors and families.

Caroline LaFollette | Client Care and Outreach Specialist
Born and raised in Anniston, Alabama, Caroline LaFollette brings her warmth, creativity, and energy to her role as Client Care and Outreach Specialist at Amada Senior Care Shelby County. After training in physical therapy at UAB, she began her career as a recruiter with HCA and later served as Director of Brand Experience. Her background gives her a special ability to connect with clients and families—helping them make confident, compassionate decisions about senior care and respite for family caregivers.
Caroline has never met a stranger and lights up every room she enters. When she’s not working out at IronTribe or baking sweet treats, she’s often needlepointing or volunteering through her church’s young professionals program. Her love of pink and impressive lipstick collection perfectly capture her vibrant, joyful personality.

Holly Garren, RN provides clinical oversight and caregiver education for Amada Senior Care Shelby County. Holly is also skilled in helping families navigate VA home care and Veteran benefits, connecting Veterans to resources that make quality care accessible.
