\n I work for another agency in a building downtown and two times this week caregivers from this agency show up and one didn\u2019t have a complete apartment number, so he was unable to find his client, the other caregiver went to the room provided and no one by that name lives there. I have tried helping both of these caregivers and it\u2019s been in Saturdays where the apartment building staff are out and Amada doesn\u2019t answer phones or have an emergency line for these issues. Clients are not getting their care? I think Amada needs to look into this and provide a hotline or something for your caregivers so that they may be able to reach you after hours and on weekends. My agency has 24 hour staff handling the phones for these situations. This is not a rating, just a suggestion because both of your caregivers had no idea what to do. I felt bad for the both of them, depending on money and arranging child care etc, just to have to go home not knowing what to do.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n I’d give these people zero stars if I could.\n\nThey are understaffed but keep taking on clients. They lied to my caseworker and to me and left me without help when I needed them to come through without a phone call or any communication at all.\n\nThey care more about money than being consistent in giving care.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n I have been happy with many caregivers through Amada. I recently have had to remind the Office Workers that I have allergies to Perfume and chemicals. They did not inform many Workers . I pay the price with headaches and swelling. I have to send them home and miss out the help I need. I feel frustrated, angry and upset, disappointed in this situation.\nThank you\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n Was somewhat satisfied. The two woman who care for my dad were wonderful, the actual administration personnel come up a little short. Recently my dad had shingles. Doctor said he had them for a while and was not contagious any longer, but when this was told to Amada Admin, they refused to have the caregivers come to the home. The person I talked to was entirely misinformed about shingles. Practically insulted me, and didn’t let up until I finally said “okay fine, don’t have them come this week!” when I needed them the most, I was exhausted. I was a medically trained EMT for ten years. I couldn’t convince this person that her caregivers were NOT going to EVER give shingles to anyone or catch Shingles! … and that his infection was NOT contagious any longer. – When I called my Dad’s doctor and told him what Amada Administrative person did, he said the person was an idiot.\nOther problems were with billing, it took them 8 months to figure it out. They have a very limited amount of people working for them, and they are “booked” if you need an extra day, or if someone goes on vacation, you have to just deal with figuring how you are going to get groceries for the week! So the two people that come here are good with dad. The admin side needs quite a bit of work.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
