\n I have been working with Lisa and Nellie to get caretakers for my grandfather. They have been absolutely wonderful. Lisa has been incredibly kind, accommodating, responsive, and informative. She accommodated our family meeting with her later in the evening due to work schedules. She has connected us with information for resources to help with my grandfather’s care. \n I want to give Madalyn and Nellie both 5 stars with this company. As a caregiver you are so stressed and the service I received from both of them was excellent. I always felt safe leaving my husband with Madalyn who was soft spoken, kind, caring and just sat along side my husband. And Nellie, I had to deal with her alot with appts., changing appts. etc. and she was just always helpful, kind and patient with me as my scheduled changed multiple times. There were some confusion around how many visits a year available and she clarified so i had the correct information to move forward. She had an attitude of serving and being available to help and did it with a smile even though we dealt through the phone. Great job ladies, you are a credit to the company. \n Our family has been so fortunate to be receiving care for our parents through Amada for nine months now. It was the best decision we made. With the initial phone call, Lisa was compassionate and helpful, answering all my questions and then making arrangements. Nelly was wonderful, patient and kind and paired our Dad with Francine. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Francine. She has been a godsend assisting our Dad with his needs. Francine is so kind, caring, patient and compassionate with our Dad. We are so fortunate to have her in our lives. She now also assists feeding our mom in memory care a couple days a week as well. She advocates for our mom and treats her with such kindness. Francine is a wonderful person and I am grateful for her help and friendship.\nIn addition, our mom has received great care and kindness from several additional staff including Vicki, Christiana, Kaitlyn, and Nyoka. We are so grateful for their patience and help assisting our mom. Coordinating all these efforts is Nelly. \n Working with Amanda Senior Care has been a Godsend for our family. My sister and I live out of state and our parents were in need of help. We can\u2019t say enough good things about every aspect of their agency:\n– the administration (Lisa and Nelly) have EXCELLENT communication with us. They monitor our parents and let us know immediately if there\u2019s a problem so we can take action. They also have an excellent online documentation system where the caregivers write their daily notes that we can access too.\n– the care giving staff have been exceptional. They help feed and assist with ADL\u2019s with our mom and have been wonderful helping coordinate care between the ALF and her Hospice team. FRANCINE goes above and beyond in assisting our dad. She keeps the house impeccably clean and well-organized. She helps Dad plan his meals, cooks and shops when needed and has a beautiful way of connecting with him. \n Amada has been a welcome addition to my mom\u2019s caregiving team. Her needs recently changed, requiring additional caregiving hours and Amada helped fill in some of the gaps we could not cover. Everyone I\u2019ve dealt with has been friendly and understanding. One of the caregivers, Kenya, has become a friend to my mom, who describes her as a \u201cwonderful person.\u201d In addition to keeping my mom company, Kenya ensures she does her physical therapy exercises, prepares \u201cgreat meals\u201d and helps with some light housekeeping. Though my mom was initially anxious about having another new person in the house, Kenya quickly put her at ease. She is a wonderful companion. Nelly, one of the schedulers, has been wonderful to deal with as we navigate changing needs. She is a good listener, compassionate and caring.
