Meet Jennifer Novy
Jennifer (Jenny) Novy, owner of Amada Senior Care NorthShore, has dedicated her professional and personal life to caring for seniors. A lifelong Chicagoan, Jenny holds master’s degrees in both Gerontology and Therapeutic Recreation and has spent 25 years working with seniors across Illinois. She also knows firsthand what it means to receive in-home care: when her father-in-law and mother-in-law were both diagnosed with cancer, hospice caregivers came into their home and made all the difference.

VA Aid & Attendance – Free Claims Assistance
Many veterans and their spouses don’t know they may be eligible for financial assistance to help cover in-home care. As an Accredited VA Provider (NPI #[NPI]), we handle all paperwork at no cost to you. When speaking with your VA Primary Care Physician, request Amada Senior Care NorthShore as your designated caregiving provider.
Eligibility Requirements
Military Service
90+ days active duty with at least one day during wartime. Honorable discharge required.
Personal Care Needs
Currently requires help with daily activities such as walking, eating, toileting, or dressing.
Income & Assets
Majority of income spent on care expenses. The VA determines acceptable asset thresholds based on age and need.
