Amada has been truly a gift for our family as we dealt with a few medical issues, one right after another. They were ready as soon as we contacted them. For the past week the wonderful healthcare workers from Amada Senior Care Northshore provided care to my wife who was recovering from hip surgery. We found each and every person who cared for my wife to be considerate, caring and compassionate. I cannot tell you how pleased we are with the professional care we are currently receiving from Amada. Our caregivers are so well-trained and compassionate. They truly have our family member’s best interest in mind on a daily basis. They are very attentive, communicative, and follow the care plan. They are trained to de-escalate difficult situations, think creatively when the situation arises, and entertain our family member. They are always on time. We really appreciate the daily notes they write so we really get a feel for our family member’s day. Amada is very responsive both by email and by phone. After a shoulder replacement, I needed day care at my home because prior strokes left my other hand unusable. I could not do any of the usual daily functions . After meeting with Jenny Novy, I was confident she would be able to provide the care I needed. I was right. I was not used to being dependent on anyone else, but my caregiver was so competent and pleasant, it was like having a friend over for a visit! I will need the same type of care after another shoulder surgery soon and will be calling Amada without question.
