We recently used Amada Senior Care when a loved one was discharged from the hospital. The team at Amada was amazing. They were able to facilitate immediate in home care. They were truly empathetic to our needs in addition to the needs of our 96 year old loved one. The 3 CNA’s they provided came on a schedule and we were able to feel comfortable having the same CNA staff daily. We utilized the services from Amada for several weeks until our loved one decided to initiate hospice services and ultimately passed away. Amada and the staff were excellent And the scheduling team was incredible. If I were to find myself needing in-home care services again, Amada would be my first call.
I reached out to Amada Senior Care when my mother was scheduled for a hip replacement. The owner answered all of my questions and walked me through the process. We were able to get reliable daily care in place within 24 hours. Although the first aide wasn’t a good fit, it was a smooth process to transition to a second aide who remained consistent over the four weeks. Communication with the care coordinator was excellent. I highly recommend this agency.

The Owners worked very closely with me and exhibited kindness, patience and understanding on my mom’s specific needs. Approximately three years ago, I employed the home care services provided by Amada Senior Care to assist my wife who has Progressive Supra nuclear Palsy (PSP). My wife is wheel–chair bound and she cannot speak. The home-care service provided by Amada Senior Care has been absolutely outstanding. The home health aids are very attentive to my wife’s needs and desires. They consistently show caring and warmth when interacting with her.They are also dependable and trustworthy. I had spinal fusion surgery on October 5, 2023. When I returned home from the hospital on October 9, I was very weak and needed help performing several activities of daily living; specifically bathing and dressing. After interviewing senior care agency presidents, I signed up with Amada Senior Care, based in Freehold, NJ. Wayne Espiritu offered flexibility in scheduling home health aides in accordance with my neeeds. He also committed to being an advocate for me with respect to my long term care insurance policy. On day #1 of support on October, the aide who was to be my permanent aide, had a medical procedure and was unable to work. After about one week, Thessa (Wayne’s co-partner), found me a very skilled and caring lady, who became my dedicated aide for several months. As promised, Wayne came to my house several times, primarily to discuss my long term care policy policy. Also, Thessa and her primary scheduler, Hazel, were exremely responsive to my changing needs for in-home support. One time, I needed a ride home from a doctor’s appointment. Thessa came in her personal vehicle to pick me and my non-driving up and drove us home. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly recommend Amada Senior Care of Freehold to anyone in their territory in Middlesex County, who anyone needs in-home support.

Amada was Very professional. I am applying for benefits from Prudential insurance for my wife. This is the first time I am applying for her Long Term Care and I do not know all the catches insurance companies usually use to make this process extremely difficult. Fortunately Wayne from Amada was with us from day one to guide us through the entire process. Until now Amada helped us through 1. Making sure we apply with relevant facts needed and avoid unnecessary details which might hinder the approval by the insurance company. 2. Amada was present when the insurance company sent a nurse to evaluate my wife’s medical needs and reviewed our statements we were going to make, prior to the nurse’s arrival. The caregiver was also present at that time to listen and understand what our needs are. 3. We don’t have the approval yet, but Amada is going to follow up with the insurance company, to make sure we get the approval and go ahead with the senior care for my wife Hema Ramachandran. Well I spoke to management today and the one major issue is that you can NOT rely on the staff being there. Today was 2nd or 3rd time NO SHOW! One time they had someone come about hour later. Also when called today to ask about 11 minutes after person was to show and I was told they will contact staff and try get me someone last minute. Though I set schedule about 3 weeks ago! So it is not last minute because we ask but because their staff unreliable. Besides they charge for home health aide and send companion and don’t even tell you. And the nurse when do follow up you pay for aide to be there to hear the plan of care yet you paying! While the nurse doesn’t even have the correct patient info. And disregards concerns about care for family member. It is a lot to try and put here but bottom line you need reliability for your family member and do not need to be told that they do what can last minute when was scheduled for weeks and their staff not call, text or show. Reliability, understanding and consistency is paramount! Also when you have agency you should have some feeling of comfort and not with this company. There are those that are good but as a customer who has a parent with dementia you need know they taken care of and not left alone while you pay for quality care. I am sorry but can not recommend this agency for many more reasons

Absolutely top tier! I needed help caring for my elderly father and I reached out to this office. I spoke to Wayne who I believe might be the owner. Wayne is hands down the sweetest person, he was very attentive and listened to the issues that I was experiencing. He provided me with information on the process, went over the fee schedule and spoke about Medicare. If you are in Monmouth county don’t hesitate to give them a call if you need care for a loved one.

How is Aid and Attendance Eligibility Determined?
1. Military Service
- A minimum of 90 days of active duty, with at least one of those days during wartime.
- Must not have been dishonorable discharged.
2. Personal Care Needs
- Applicant must currently require assistance with activities of daily living, such as walking, eating, toileting, or dressing.
3.Income
- Majority of applicant’s income must currently be spent on care expenses.
- The percentage of income currently spent on care will determine the benefits they receive.
4.Assets
- The VA will determine an acceptable threshold for applicants’ assets.
- Determination of financial assets will depend upon age and financial need.
