They go above and beyond when it comes to the clients as well. The staff will check in on your client often when they know they have been sick or in the hospital. \n We have the most amazing care giver LA! My father in law loves her and so do we. His whole life was a chair and TV. He never wanted to go anywhere. LA changed all of that. She gets him out everyday she is with us. Those 2 light up the room together. From the VA doctors office to our local restaurants, the staff smile when they see them coming. She gave me the confidence to take him on adventures. Now he wants to go everyday which is so good for him. She finds ways to make him feel independent and keep his dignity. Amada hires angels. When LA needs a day off (as all great caregivers need time to decompress) Amada sends backup angels Lindsey or Rebecca. They are so patient and kind to him. We have been so pleased with the care and professionalism. Highly recommend!\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n All of our caregivers are an important piece of the puzzle in caring for my parents. Each one brings something important to both their lives & mine. Brittany brings compassion, friendship, & connection to my Dad (stroke) Mom (dementia) and me. Lachelle is a wonderful cheerleader to us all and is a gifted cook that has a contagious smile. McKenzii is patient and kind and pays attention to detail. Kelsey, Amanda J and Monica provide loving care with a touch of home. I cannot thank them enough, for we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. AMADA has a gift for hiring the most special people that become your family and friends. Do not hesitate to trust them. \n I had the pleasure of meeting a caregiver by the name of L.A. She was having lunch with a senior male at our local Applebee’s.I couldn’t help but notice the smile and glow the gentlemen had on his face. The joy and laughter that came from their table.As L.A. sang and made sure everything was in place for the senior. I had to ask if he was her dad, and to my surprise she was his caregiver through this company (Amada). Her compassion for the services she provided lets me know this company don’t just hire workers. I have had a few health issues with myself and family and they are always there with an understanding and caring heart. I love my Amada family. \n Amada was a terrible experience for me. I was depending on them for the care of my father who had a stroke and they overdosed his meds. The first day they came out to care for my father, the admin Katherine who does the care giver introduction, handed my father medication from his pill organizer in the initial 15 minutes there and overdosed him because he had already taken medication. She was there to learn his routine! She didn’t consult my sister who was there in the house. My father who had a stroke did not remember taking them as he has short term memory issues, as one might expect. They proceeded to explain that it was confusing how the meds were laid out as if this supported giving him the meds. If I were giving medicine and was at all confused I would hit pause and make double sure there was no mistake. Especially if it were the first day learning his routine and family was right there. They gave me a follow-up call 3 hours later! I had already dealt with poison control and his doctors to see if he needed to go to ER by the time they even reached out to me. I was flabbergasted and would never trust them for care. Btw, this happened after they were a no-show the time before and I had to scramble to find replacement. Awful experience, I hope I can save someone from it happening to them. Find someone else!\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

James and his team have provided amazing caregiving support to my father as I was navigating the transition from assisted living, to personal care to, skilled nursing as my fathers Parkinsons and dementia has continued to worsen and he has required more and more assistance. James and his team have not only been there for support and caregiving services, but they have been there during emergencies, have provided crisis intervention support, and have been available at the touch of a button when I\u2019ve reached out. \n I met James through a referral from a friend involved in Senior Living this past summer. My story is long but suffice it to say I was new to Senior Homecare. My 88 year old dad suffered from Alzheimer\u2019s and was living 4 1\/2 hours away so we moved them to Lexington In May into the Willows at Hamburg. Because my dad was a fall risk we needed 24 hour sitters upon discharge from the hospital in May.\n\nBy the time I had met James I had had experience with FIVE other home care agencies. All they needed to do was sit with my dad and keep him company abs provide a little love and support. What I have learned about Home care agencies is that professionalism, compassion and concern is a high priority. When I met James he promised me that Amada was the LAST agency we would need. He and Laural are Registered Nurses and understand the need for compassion and high quality care regardless of how simple the task is. They made sure that their staff was the right fit for our situation and they made adjustments along the way. They stayed in constant communication with the Willows\u2019 staff and me when necessary. James also helped me navigate through the senior services options available to my Dad.\n\nI have learned that \u201cyou get what you pay for\u201d in all areas especially home health. They provided a peace of mind that other companies didn\u2019t. I knew who would be sitting with my dad at night and when they arrived through an app provided.\n\nI highly recommend AMADA SENIOR SERVICES to any families in the Lexington area. My dad passed away in October and I know he had the best of care until the end.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
