The Industry

Projections and Demographics

By 2060, the number of individuals ages 65 and over is projected to more than double from approximately 46 million today to more than 98 million. Each day, approximately 10,000 Americans turn 65, a trend that is expected to continue for at least 20 years. Aging baby boomers make up the fastest growing demographic in the U.S.

Bulletproof Profitability

Unlike other industries, the senior care industry is resistant to economic fluctuations, pandemics and other negative influences because seniors will always need care. To date, senior care and its many facets generate $300 billion a year. This figure is expected to reach more than $515 billion by 2027, also spurring the growth of the senior placement industry which, in addition to in-home care, falls within the purview of Amada’s services. Sources including IBISWorld and Statista report current annual revenue from home care services alone is in the vicinity of $97 billion.

Impetus for In-Home Care

The Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University reports 78 percent of seniors own their own homes, most choosing to remain in them for as long as possible. Among the conditions seniors face as they age—largely chronic—are heart disease, respiratory disease, diabetes, cognitive issues, arthritis, osteoporosis, depression and physical injury from falls. To facilitate staying in the home where familiar surroundings can lift spirits, maintain quality of life and increase longevity, the need for caregiving support cannot be underestimated.

We’re Looking for Leaders

When you decide to take the next step in learning about Amada Senior Care franchise ownership, it kicks off a process. We learn about you, and you learn about us. Ultimately, we’re all just looking to see if it’s a good fit.

At Amada, we’re looking for an elite team of motivated self-starters who want to own and run larger territories than any of their competitors, think strategically and excel on a daily basis. As a relatively young company, we’re not only open to feedback from our franchise partners – we look forward to it.

Although there are no specific experience requirements, the most successful franchise partners are enthusiastic and driven professionals with a passion for caring. Many franchise partners come to Amada with a sales background, but personality and motivation are more important than your past jobs. If you feel you have what it takes, we’d love to talk with you.

Expert Training

Our franchise partners start with an intensive 5-day training course at our corporate support center where our dedicated team of experts will take you through each specific function of your business. During this time you’ll learn about the administrative and operational sides of the business including sales, marketing, finance, care, human resources, customer service and more.

After our intensive 5-day training, one of our Amada support coaches spends time in your territory to kick start your sales and recruiting strategies. You and the support coach will touch on every aspect of the business – from walking into your local hospitals and other already identified referral sources, to interviewing caregivers and performing a needs analysis for a new client. During this visit, our franchisees come to realize that they are partners who are building a long-term, sustainable business with the Amada founders.

It is imperative that our clients receive the highest level of care. This means that our franchise partners must hire caregivers that can consistently perform on our mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve, and staff that can manage these caregivers and other office functions effectively. Crucial parts of our training process include teaching our franchise partners how to find and train caregivers, and preparing them to staff and run every area of their business.

You’ll always have cell phone numbers for our coaches, as well as the contact information for a support team with over 50 years of combined franchising experience. If need be, we will get on a plane to come and see you.
