Why Amada?

The senior population is rapidly expanding, making non-medical, in-home care franchises perfectly positioned for tremendous growth. Plus, an Amada Senior Care business has benefits you won’t find anywhere else.

A Widening Market

The senior population is growing at a rapid rate. Consider these statistics:  Every day more than 8,000 Americans celebrate their 65th birthday. Today’s seniors prefer to age-in-place and are choosing in-home care or assisted living placement. Many are seeking personal care services upon discharge from a hospital, skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation center.

Generous Territories

Other in-home care companies typically will offer an initial franchise territory with less than 300,000 people. To ensure our franchise partners can outwork and outgrow the competition, we offer large protected territories of 350,000 people and larger.

Rapid Rise

In just eight years since it started franchising, Amada Senior Care is considered the fastest-growing, premiere, in-home care franchise systems. Industry trackers such as Forbes, Entrepreneur and Franchise Business Review all have rated Amada as a “best buy” on their rankings lists. Given our reputation as having one of the strongest franchise brands, we anticipate and plan for continued accelerated growth.

Multiple Streams of Revenues

Amada Senior Care at its core is a trusted provider of non-medical, in-home care — but this won’t be the only way you’ll make money as a franchise partner.

Because in-home care is not always the right option for every senior, our franchise partners also help families secure the best possible assisted living arrangements for their loved ones.

Assisted living placement services are free to Amada clients. We maintain an entire website dedicated to these efforts, and our unique system allows franchise partners to earn more money while offering families caring guidance through the senior care process. As long-term care insurance experts, we help clients unlock the value of their policies so they can get the best, most appropriate senior care for their loved one.

Amada Connect

With 24/7 monitoring, the Amada Connect system delivers peace of mind for seniors and their families. When a fall or other emergency happens, seniors and their families will get help immediately with Amada Connect. This 24-hour medical alert program connects them to an operator who will dispatch help during those first critical moments.

Amada Connect offers a comprehensive line of Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) to support safe and independent living. With the push of a button, a professionally-trained monitoring staff will be alerted. The operator will identify your  client’s need and contact their designated responder – family member, friend, neighbour, or emergency medical responders – and the operator will stay on the line until help arrives.

Our History

Amada Senior Care, formerly Amada Home Care, was founded in 2007 by college friends Tafa Jefferson and Chad Fotheringham, who met while studying business and playing football together at University of the Pacific. In 2008, they were founding members of the American Board of Home Care, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the senior community and establishing standards in senior home care. Both Tafa and Chad stand an imposing 6 feet 6 inches tall and are known by many in the home care industry as the “big guys with big hearts”.

Our Ideal franchise partner

What it Takes

Owning an Amada Senior Care business requires an investment with two major components – human and financial. Above all, we’re looking for good human beings – compassionate and motivated individuals with a drive to help and a drive to become effective business leaders. We can train you in nearly everything else, but nothing can compensate for lack of desire and heart.

At Amada we value these five things:

1. Compassionate/Charitable
2. Confidently Humble
3. Competitively driven to be the best
4. Urgency in all things
5. Farmer/Entrepreneur mentality
