Job Summary
Amada Senior Care is searching for compassionate, experienced caregivers to join our growing team.
If you are a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys caring for and helping others, takes pride in making a difference in others lives, our caregiver position is for you.
Caregiver Duties:
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Planning and preparing meals
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to doctor appointments and running errands
- Assist with all activities of daily living
Requirements:
- 1-2 years verifiable home health experience
- Dementia or Alzheimer’s experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Positive and compassionate attitude
- Reliable vehicle for work purposes with proof of insurance
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to understand and follow a care plan
- Punctual – must be on time
- Subject to criminal, background, and reference check
