\n We recently had a need for a part-time caretaker\/housekeeping assistant in our household. Two people had suggested I contact Amada Senior Care Columbus. The owner responded immediately, assessed our needs and scheduled Najila to help us out. Najila was absolutely a perfect match for our needs. She was friendly, helpful and a VERY efficient and hard worker. She was extremely patient, kind and caring with my 98 year old mother who is blind and hard of hearing. I just can’t say enough good things about her caregiving and housekeeping skills, as well as her friendly and caring personality. \n I was very lucky to have a primary and backup care provider for my mom. My mom was a hard sell to the idea and took sometime before she became welcoming to her provider. It was a blessing for me to know she had someone with her on days that I could not be. There was excellent communication between her provider and myself as well as the scheduler and myself . I trusted these ladies and enjoyed the times when I was there spending time with them. They were patient and caring with her .mom became fond of her provider and looked forward to amada days\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n Amada Senior Care is by far one of the best Home Health Companies in the business. I\u2019m a time where everything is rush, rush, rush- Amada workers take the time to get to know their clients. My family ( my Mother) was fortunate to be one of the first clients they had. Kerry was Mom\u2019s aide, she became as me one of the family. \n I love Amada Senior Care! We’ve been with them since November of 2021. My mother, who still lives in her own home, has late onset Alzheimers and kept forgetting to take her meds. With Amada’s help, we were able to get her blood pressure under control again. The caregiver, Robin, is so sweet to Mom and Mom really likes having her there. \n My family’s experience with Amada Senior Care has been incredible! After having a bad experience with another local home care provider I was desperately looking for a new company. Fortunately, I was referred to Amada. Amada’s owner and staff were quick to respond to my inquiry and set up an initial meeting the next day. From my first conversation with Kirby, the owner, I could tell that Amada’s business philosophy was different than other companies I had interviewed. Kirby and the team at Amada sincerely value patient\/family care over the ‘bottom line.’ They were able to get 24\/7 care coordinated for us within two days. All of the home aids were professional, courteous and seemed to genuinely care about my aunt and uncle. I felt very comfortable leaving my aunt and uncle in Amada’s care. Amada set up a consistent schedule of aids coming each week. With the other company I had used it was a constant revolving door of different aids who were sent each week (and missed shifts). Amada never failed to fill a shift–if someone called off last minute they had staff available to fill in. This was a great relief to me as I didn’t have to constantly worry about being stuck without an aid on-site. For anyone who has ever had to use a home care provider, you know it’s not easy to leave your loved one with a stranger. But, after my experience with Amada I would recommend them to anyone in a similar situation, without hesitation.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n Let me start by stating I unfortunately lost my father this past March. He had health issues and then fell and shattered his hip. He had to have emergency surgery and then rehab. Due to Covid, we as a family were not able to visit him physically. This, in addition to some set backs, proved to put him on a difficult path to recovery. I googled home health care. That is how I found Amada. I emailed them and Kirby called me immediately back. He spent quite a bit of time on the phone explaining their services and options. I shared the information with my Mom but she wasn\u2019t convinced my Dad was in need of these services. In the mean time, I let Kirby know. He STILL made sure to offer his knowledge and help if I just needed to talk. Long story short, after my Dad declined quickly, we were in quick need of help. My Mom wanted to bring my Dad home. I called Kirby and his colleague Mike. They made things happen, and made it so easy on us. I cannot begin to thank them for the care they provided the last month of my Dad\u2019s life. \n My husband decided to come home from the hospital with Hospice late on a Saturday afternoon. I was given Amada\u2019s information to provide care giver support for the night shift. They were able to provide a care giver 2 hours later. The young man who came to help us was Aloysius. He was able to connect with my husband as both had military experience. Aloysius was with my husband for quite a few night shifts, allowing me to get some rest. My husband felt very comfortable when Aloysius was here and was happy to know when he was coming. Although the other care givers Amada provided were competent and caring, Aloysius was my husbands favorite. After my husband passed Aloysius called me to say how sorry he was, which I felt showed how much he cared about the patients he took care of. He is a very special young man and I strongly recommend him if you require a caregiver to help with a family member!\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
