I want to thank you for the excellent care you have provided for both my parents. Initially they were not in favor of having a stranger in their home and resisted any attempt to have a caregiver. But after much discussion Amada was able to win them over. Once she told my mother to think of the caregiver as her personal assistant, my mom was convinced! Amada match my folks with Jaclyn, she was great with them. Her delicious cooking quickly won my dad over. She was always right on time, very patient with them, friendly and a hard worker. Amada Senior Care has been a wonderful experience for my family who was in need at a difficult time. They were responsive, attentive and extremely professional. Five stars is not a high enough rating.I have been in healthcare for over 50 years and I was so grateful for the prompt help for my husband that included a home visit the next morning. Eliza understands the long term care system exceedingly well and was able to help me with understand our long-term care policy, which was quite complicated as we both spoke with the representative from the company for nearly 40 minutes She was able to help me come up with an action plan for getting my husband care even though we were going out of state for the next six months. When we return, I have no question that I will follow up with the organization for help in my husband’s care.

Eliza is incredible! She sprung into action, having never met us, reviewing my parents policies and scheduling a call with their insurance company. She asked essential questions that helped us better understand their options. Most importantly, she is so patient and never rushed anything. We are grateful to have her help!

Amada Senior Care started by helping us gather pertinent facts about our father, including his insurance coverages. They also provided us assessment questionnaires to assess assisted living and adult family homes. These greatly improved the quality of the visits to these facilities in asking the right questions.

A member of my family needed personal care services after a fall.  I reached out to several local agencies, including Amada Senior Care.  Amada was first to respond and offered to meet in person that same day.  During our meeting, they took the time to really understand our needs and clearly communicated their service offerings. The contracting and onboarding process was straightforward, and the following day we had an at-home caregiver. Over the course of around 2 months, our caregiver provided exemplary service for my family member. Beyond the expected activities, they provided genuine empathy and companionship for someone going through a difficult recovery. They took the time to understand my family member’s interests, and took steps to keep them active and engaged when the basic personal care tasks were completed. This ranged from doing jigsaw puzzles together, to going outdoors for fresh air and some light exercise. I personally believe that this level of engagement contributed materially to the recovery process. On the few occasions where minor issues arose, I was always able to reach my support contact. They provided straight answers and a clear resolution plan. In summary, I found Amada Senior Care to be easy to work with as an agency, and their caregivers to be extremely competent and caring. If you’re looking for a caregiver, I think reaching out to them will be time well spent. You can quickly determine if they’re a good fit for your needs.

Amada Senior Care has been wonderful and Eliza has helped me manage my long term care insurance policy! Eliza has also helped me try to maximize my benefits with my policy in trying to get our chair lift repairs approved. Our caregiver Kua is very helpful and effieicent, speedy in helping with things! I cannot express my gratitude and happiness with the services from Eliza and Amada Senior Care. Eliza has taken care of getting in-home care in place for my mother on very short notice. She has gone above and beyond expectations, even coordinating the care and visting my mother on a Sunday. The professionalism and competence of her and her staff is remarkable. Eliza made the onboarding process seamless, her RN Britt developed the care plan, the CNA’s are exceptional. Amada has taken the stress off of our family during a very difficult transition process. We interviewed several agencies and Amada Senior Care is head’s and shoulder’s above all the others. I have currently been with the company for over a year, I have experienced adequate care, there has been a big improvement since Janice has arrived it’s like night and day. The administration has also improved.

Amada has been invaluable to me and my clients. We put long term care insurance policies in place and are there to help when they need us. Our first call is usually Eliza at Amada. She and her staff go above and beyond and TRULY care about their work and making sure their customers are comfortable and taken care of. They coordinate your care, help you find the best caregiver or care situation and even guide you through turning on your long term care policy if you have one. They are like having the best travel guide if you were dropped in a foreign country.

We were blessed as a family to become familiar with Amada as we started the Hospice chapter with our husband/father this past winter. Starting with a telephone interview, having a initial contact with a staff member and continued onto daily caregiver time to support our needs- we have been impressed with skills, trust and partnering to assist our family with this sacred time in our home. Our husband/father trusted his caregiver and immediately bonded. CG’s rich array of skills and quiet contributions to assist our family daily were invaluable. We can’t say enough. I am so glad we found Amada Senior Care. Both my parents have long term home care insurance but we didn’t know how to get it started. They kept saying my parents couldn’t qualify at ages 98 and 97. Eliza stepped in and did all the negotiations, making the process so easy. I don’t know what I would have done without her! I have also been very happy with the caregivers who come into my parents home and assist with everything they need. Mom especially appreciates Elizabeth and finds her easy to be with. She is so respectful of my Dad who has dementia and he looks forward to her visits. She is very attentive and sees things that need to be done without even being asked. It is a great relief to me to know my parents are getting such wonderful care. We are very grateful for Eliza and her team.

We chose Amada because they were the only service that said “no problem” when we outlined our preferences. We have found the team to be extremely helpful — the scheduling is extraordinarily responsive as we are adapting to a changing situation with my parents’ circumstance. We are always able to get in touch with the owner who is directly involved and our primary care giver went out of his way to learn and understand both of my parents and genuinely cares about their well being. Amada Care has been great for my dad who recently suffered a stroke. We had to figure things out quickly with his care and Eliza Cha was especially helpful in the process of learning what his long term care plan entailed as well as communicating on our behalf with his insurer.
